This morning Jay & I headed out into the country to the Abbotsford Tulip Festival. Rows and rows of bright tulips greeted us as we pulled up to the foot of the local mountains.
I couldn’t help but take photos around every bend. Something about all of the amazing rows of colors and knowing this beauty is temporary makes you want to cherish it forever. There were so many different types of tulips I didn’t even know existed – I wanted to take them all home.
I decided to wear this sweet vintage number, a 1960s silk wrap dress with rosette details on the shoulder. Paired with cream flats and my brown felt hat I was ready to take photos in every row (to Jay’s excitement I’m sure) 🙂
If you are in the area next year I highly recommend going & picking up a couple bunches of tulips to take home with you!
